Michael Angelo

Licensed Massage Therapist

Since I was young, I knew I needed to work with my hands. Originally from North Carolina, the only opportunity for success I saw was to work on a farm, or roofing houses. Unsure which direction to go, yet eager to begin my life, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at 19, much like the majority of my family.

I served as an infantryman for four years, filling multiple roles and billets throughout my term. During this time, while establishing a keen sense of anatomy with training in Tactical Casualty Combat Care, I became self aware of the damage I was putting my body through, and began changing the way I took care of myself.

Taking all the lessons and values that were ingrained in me by family and service, I honorably discharged in 2020. I came to Washington, and resumed my search for a physically engaging job. After some time on a production line building mattresses, followed by two years working retail, and an attempt at school for radiography, I decided I need to be trained in something, not disseminating effort blindly. Remembering my affinity for anatomy, seeking to work hands on, I found Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage, and enrolled almost immediately! I’ve found massage to be the best way to utilize my work experience, physical empathy, and general intrigue about the human body and it’s processes. It has been my goal as a Massage Therapist to facilitate the success of those that work for a living, as that is what I do best.

In pursuit of success, stability, and security, we often neglect our personal wellbeing, focusing heavily on the mission. I will be your reminder that you are pivotal to the sustenance of my chosen community, and self care is essential to keep that cog turning. It’s okay to work for a living, we all do it, but we cannot forget that a part of work, is maintenance.

Tia Epona

Licensed Massage Therapist

Hello! I’m Tia Epona, licensed massage therapist of thirteen years here in Washington. I took the massage program at the Cortiva Institute of Massage in Seattle back in 2010 and have enjoyed combining my anatomy knowledge with my passion for helping others ease their pain.

I’ve worked with a number of spas as well as skilled chiropractors, spine specialists, and physical therapists to further my skillset in my massage career as well as aid clients in learning more about themselves. I’m even certified for animal massage, a specialty second only to deep tissue.

In my free time I enjoy getting outdoors with my dog, backpacking, fishing, or for downtime I’m usually reading, gaming or cooking.

Massage types: deep tissue, CBD application, injury treatment, prenatal, hot stone, aromatherapy
